I recently spent a night at a charming motel in the heart of Galle, and it turned out to be quite a relaxing getaway. The location was convenient, with easy access to eateries, allowing for a leisurely dinner stroll. The staff greeted us warmly and were attentive to our needs, even anticipating requests we ultimately didn't require. I did experience a rather unsettling incident with a visitor at my door during the night. Though initially daunting, the management addressed the situation after contact was made, showing genuine concern for guest safety. Our stay was brief, primarily meant as a stopover before returning home, but the atmosphere was calm, making it an inviting place to unwind. The free private parking was a significant advantage, especially as my father had dental appointments nearby.
